& space machines above

clouds of ivory & alabaster

& silver & slate & lead

are big like mountains

like moons 

like gods
& tell us 

be animal - be weather

scudding east & away
their friends to follow

in the savoy & bluebonnet 

of an opensource sky

BY APERTURES

the moonlight beam
a silver blaze
down the curtain gap

is broken

by nights 

black erasure

& arrives as a bullion bar

smelted by apertures
on the rumpled sheets & me

burning

seems to MEAN something

behind terraces 
or
high and mocking in silver clouds 
looking down at us
adding
up
pitiful
dollar-pounds
in
front
of
sick
blue
tv
chattering repition like dim dawn birds
in
the label language

cement concrete and city clay ?
