FRIDAY POPS

GET ME THE PRODUCER
ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW

and the dream was
All
Too
Much

still i revisit its viscera
tour its trenches
hot
with a vicarious bug

true there was love there too
an enduring rock stack
in
the
horrors wild surf

a love so densely intense
it wept all by itself

and thats why

I CHANGED MY MIND

cafe mallside
bucket of coffee

my hands are cranes
my mind runs on the spot

and i wonder
all the people ive knowed
where are they ?

will
one
not
appear

and have a coffee with me ?

~

shitchrist

i see someone i knowed

check shirt
beanie like a sock
3/4 camo shorts over gym calves
inked there
wear the hair
never grew back

hes with a baby
and a lady
in her best velour

and all i can think is

please dont see me

dont
not today

YOU EXIST
THEREFORE
YOURE FINE

the bodies
on the
carrier bag primark streets
in the
college dropoff backpack avenues
rolling
in the
orange
of pedestrianised blockpaved bowls
and
gazing out their office pods

theyre ALL the shapes there are

like theres been a fire
in the waxworks arcade

~

this is outdoors in World 2.0

the airbrushed
the tv thin
are only toner in tryhard shop windows

so dont worry so much
about
your
meat puppet

its a body
valid transportation
and a pleasure stack

let those ads
with the skinny beaches
with the soft lit jawlines

let them
jog on to hell
their own way

and smile
smile with your eyes

and maintain
and dose up
your
soft meccano
with
whatever it needs

youre a metaphorical tank

in this trial simulation

WELL ELECTRIC BLEEPS

  well the electric noise
 from the retro video game
   coming out my hd tv
     is primitive
      is friend
is old comfy socks for my mind

     i am still here
   i have lasted enough
        that
       these
 noises are nostalgia now

i can enjoy the rose glow
    that never really was

~

 electric beeps back then
they were a hound barking inadequacy
    to my tiny mouse
  confused
down
  by
 the skirting board
      too  few coins
 too  few friends

  electric beeps were acceptance then

  i had games
    i had a disk drive

 and tho kids came round
   they rarely came back again

~

    seaside arcades
    were
  sand and
   sun cream
    shrill alarm bells
 dirty carpets
  clinking change
         cigarette smoke
 smell of chips
     smell of doughnuts
tinny radio on a rock station
      and a fringe of danger

~

   seaside arcades
      were
    hiding in the vampire gloom
     from
  brown tan
 spotless youth
   parading and playing
     with
 Perfection and Purpose
     in
      their
    uninterruptible
  healthysexlife
      drivinglicense
        light

~

i am so full with these flashback
     that
   i
    head
       out
  to the lawn
   for crisp air
    and the
  mental enema
       of
clean and guiltless

      Reflection
        with
   Perspective
