i am playing
catch up
after my bodys decisions

we all are

free will
is the justifying of it
we pick a reason

i try to watch
to second guess
my limbic subconscious

but it leaves me
sitting

on a garden chair

wind evacuating any residual self
finger digging around up my nose

i'd hurt my back

still i'd gone to work
and
now

walk
twisted
along
the
hospital  
corridors

go to A and E 
a nurse says
they'll give you valium and pain killers

that afternoon
pain
gone away
i'm
watching the clouds
from
my garden chair
like
they're 
the 
best 
movie 
i ever seen
