SUMMER GOING



mid august / summer takes a bow

rumble thunder
and
broken-main rain

cat hides in impossible places

afterwards - unfresh / dull heat not cleared

lurks
like kettle steam
on
the back porch cement

keen autumn coughs mist at 3 AM
