sudden shot-splat sneezes

yellow morning pisses
  dropsplash 
on the same pothole streets

  tinkle-tumble 
down the same victorian 
              plumbing 
              tubes
              that
              our
              fathers
              and
              mothers
cheap shoes trod and young hands flushed
  spending
their shillings and crowns and pennies
  buying 
  whatever whenever
  after 
  rationing
