ALIVE 198?

walking across the park in autumn
i remember
another autumn in this park

we
were
young
198?
and we let a wild wind blow our coats open
and
carry
us
across
the
grass

the trees seemed so big and far away

epic
and
tormented

it
felt
like
the
top of the world - a real MOMENT

for once
it
was
good
to
be
alive
and
out

from audegrapevine.com

before dusk we went in
and played games on a Spectrum
and a portable tv
while
the
gale
rattled
the dormer roof
our
faces
still
red
and
hearts still thrilled
with the power of the elements
on
our
young
minds
